Bars in Washington D.C., Houston and San Francisco will open early on Thursday morning to host viewing parties as former FBI Director James Comey publicly testifies in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Three bars in Washington, D.C., including Shaw’s Tavern, Duffy’s Irish Pub and The Partisan will be holding events. They will have specialty drinks such as Duffy’s Irish Pub’s “Covfefe cocktail,” which is a play off recent Trump tweet gaffe. Duffy’s Irish Pub will have 15 large screens tuned into C-SPAN with audio on loud.
In Houston, Texas Axelrad Beer Garden has invited customers to the “SUPER BOWL of Washington.”
Meanwhile, in San Francisco customers can get their Russian vodka fix at 6 a.m. at Cloone’s Pub, Ace’s Bar or Gina & Carlo’s. The hearing is set for 10 a.m. ET.
