Democrats re-elect Hinojosa as party chairman

DALLAS (AP) — Texas Democrats have easily re-elected state party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa, who remains the first Hispanic to hold the post.

More than 6,000 delegates overwhelmingly chose Hinojosa for the next two years Saturday, as they wrapped up the state Democratic Convention in Dallas.
