Fort Worth boy, 14, drowns trying to recover dove

ALVARDO, Texas (AP) — A 14-year-old North Texas boy has drowned in a stock pond while trying to retrieve a dove that was shot during a hunting trip.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office on Monday identified the victim as Joseph Lopez of Fort Worth.
