The internet wants Russian President Vladimir Putin to know that he’s a loser.
Website domain Loser.com is now redirecting users to Putin’s Wikipedia page in an apparent jab at Russia’s woes during its bloody invasion of neighboring Ukraine.
ZELENSKY ANSWERS PUTIN’S RALLY WITH WARNING, PLEA FOR PEACE
The domain has been used to ridicule various public figures and entities since it was acquired by Brian Connelly in 1995. Over the years, some of its targets have included former President Donald Trump, Sen. Lindsey Graham, former Vice President Al Gore, and Kanye West, who now goes by Ye.
Snapshots of the domain captured by the Wayback Machine indicate it began redirecting to Putin’s Wikipedia page a few weeks ago. Just before it redirected to Putin’s Wikipedia page, the website read, “Loser.com is a totally awesome idea still being worked on. Check back later,” per the snapshots.
Connelly has been mum on his Twitter account recently, but in June 2020, he hinted that he was eyeing Putin as another target for the domain.
https://t.co/cim73UIOTF — just got updated. It was too good of a commerical not to share. Not that I like any of the “actors” but — needles to say — enjoy 🙂

He was a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders’s presidential aspirations and has been an outspoken critic of Trump.
“The reason why I did it was because we can’t have a xenophobe as President,” he told NextWeb in early 2016 when asked why he redirected the domain to a Trump website. “My wife and I were flabbergasted about Trump’s attacks on Muslims. Fear is just not a good platform to stand up on.”

Putin launched his troops into Ukraine last month without provocation, but he has since experienced a number of setbacks. Over three weeks into the invasion, Russia has failed to capture key cities such as Kyiv and Kharkiv. There have been reports that Russian troops have been struggling with shortages of food, fuel, and other critical supplies. U.S. officials initially expected Kyiv to fall within days, but now say they have been underwhelmed by the Kremlin’s lackluster performance.
“I don’t see evidence of good employment of tactical intelligence. I don’t see integration of air capability with the ground maneuver. So there are a number of things that we would expect to have seen that we just haven’t seen,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told reporters Friday. “Many of their assumptions have not proven to be true as they entered this fight.”
