According to the Gallup daily tracking poll, President Barack Obama hit his lowest monthly job approval rating last month, including his lowest rating among whites, Hispanics, and blacks. Black support for the president has slipped to an average 84 percent (the second time Gallup is showing this level during Obama’s tenure), and Hispanic support has dropped to an all-time low of 48 percent in August, down from a record high of 82 percent in early 2009. White support remains even lower at its all-time low of 33 percent, falling from highs of 58 percent in 2009.
