Ehrlich puts spotlight on business

Former Gov. Robert Ehrlich is promising to take steps to revive Maryland’s struggling small business climate if he is voted back into office. The Republican gubernatorial candidate said Monday that he would create two task forces to study regulatory roadblocks to job creation and ways to lower the state corporate income tax rate. Last week, Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley announced last week that he is forming a 26-member commission to study ways to help small businesses.
