Maxine Waters says she wants Trump ‘marched out’ of the White House by the military or Secret Service

Rep. Maxine Waters said she would like to see President Trump “marched out” of the White House by the military or the Secret Service if he refuses to leave in late January.

“My understanding or what I would like to do is I would like to see him marched out of there,” the California Democrat said on MSNBC on Tuesday in response to a quote from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi explaining how she plans to pull Trump out of the White House “by his hair” if he doesn’t leave on his own.

“I don’t know whether it’s the Secret Service or whether it’s military or what have you, but he can’t stay,” Waters continued. “He can’t claim, you know, ownership of the White House. He doesn’t want to leave, and he’s doing everything possible, including talking about martial law, etc., etc. We want him out of there. I know Nancy Pelosi is counting down the hours. She told me that also.”

Trump has continued to contest the results of November’s presidential election, citing allegations of widespread voter fraud that he said he believes shifted the outcome.

On Tuesday night, Trump called for more audits into the election results.

“No president has ever lost reelection while making such extraordinary gains across the board,” Trump said. “There’s never been anything like it.”

Trump has been criticized by many prominent Republicans for refusing to concede defeat to President-elect Joe Biden, including this week by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who called the election challenges “very, very dangerous.”
