WATCH: Clintons booed at Billy Joel concert in New York City

Bill and Hillary Clinton got booed at a Billy Joel concert in New York City after the singer gave them a shoutout.

“I dedicate this next song to my good friends who are here tonight, Bill and Hillary Clinton,” Joel said at the Thursday night concert as the crowd’s initial cheers turned into boos as the duo’s faces appeared on screen.

The political partners have remained controversial in American politics with a Gallup poll from last fall showing Hillary’s approval rating at only 36% and Bill Clinton’s sexual misconduct from the 1990s being relitigated in light of the “#MeToo” movement.

This week, Bill Clinton tried to distance himself from billionaire Jeffrey Epstein after the convicted sex offender was arrested again on charges of conspiracy and child sex trafficking.

Flight logs from Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private airplane show Clinton traveled with the billionaire on at least six separate trips, which contradicts Clinton’s claims that he only traveled with him four times.
