Maryland delegate suffers stroke

The Associated Press is reporting that Roxanne Taylor of Bowie, a Maryland delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Denver, has suffered a stroke.

Quoting Maryland Democratic Party spokesman David Paulson, AP says Taylor, 52, had the stroke about 11 p.m. Monday, at an event hosted by Comptroller Peter Franchot at Dixon’s Downtown Grill in Denver.

She is hospitalized in critical condition.
