Oddsmakers are favoring Republicans to take control of both chambers of Congress, with less than two weeks until the midterm elections.
The betting odds have a more clear favor in who will win the Senate than many election projections, which have the race as a toss-up or slightly favor Democrats to maintain control.

PredictIt has the GOP favored to take control of the Senate with 69 cents for a share compared to 34 cents per share for Democrats. Winners get a dollar back per share. For control of the House, the GOP is also favored 83 cents to win a dollar compared to the Democrats’ 11 cents to win a dollar.
London-based betting company Smarkets has the GOP favored to take control of the Senate 66.67% to the Democrats’ 36.23%, while the Republicans are also favored to win the House 89.29% compared to the Democrats’ 10.87%.
Both exchanges also have the GOP favored to win both chambers of Congress, with Republican control of the House and Democratic control of the Senate being the second most likely option.

Politico and FiveThirtyEight currently have the Republicans solidly favored to win the House. RealClearPolitics has the GOP set to win control of the Senate, while Politico and FiveThirtyEight have Senate control as a toss-up. FiveThirtyEight currently gives the Democrats a slight edge in holding control of the Senate.
