The National Republican Senatorial Committee handed out “Schumer shutdown” T-shirts to top Democrats on Capitol Hill Tuesday as a token of remembrance “so they won’t forget what happens when they shut down the federal government for no reason.”
The shirts read, “I shut down the government and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”
“The NRSC decided to get Senate Dems a little something to remember the Schumer Shutdown by so they won’t walk away totally empty-handed,” the NRSC said in a press release.
