‘More to be disclosed’: Ronan Farrow teases more #MeToo revelations

Ronan Farrow said he has reporting and sources that are waiting to come forward with #MeToo revelations that he has not printed in his new book.

“There are threads of reporting that, in some cases, other reporters are already mining, where there’s absolutely more to be disclosed,” Farrow said in an interview with Vanity Fair published Thursday. “In a number of cases, there were sources who came close to speaking and weren’t quite ready, and actually in some cases, from what I’ve heard, are becoming ready. The reporting will continue, through me and others.”

“Yes, there are specific things that did not make it into the final draft of this book that will probably enter into future reporting you’ll see from me,” he added.

Farrow, 31, said “many, many revelations” were cut from his book because of “dramatic reasons” and he did not want to seem “overly prejudicial against someone that the book was tough on.”

The investigative journalist’s book Catch and Kill was came out Tuesday and included several new allegations of sexual misconduct by former NBC anchor Matt Lauer along with attempts by NBC executives to cover up allegations.

NBC News President Noah Oppenheim, who was one of the executives accused of covering up sexual assault allegations, attacked Farrow and his reporting saying he had “an axe to grind.”

Members of the media have called for an investigation into NBC and for Oppenheim and several other executives involved to resign.
