Trump attacks Joe Biden: He ‘does not have what it takes’

President Trump said the Joe Biden’s chances at winning the Democratic primary for president, much less a general election, are poor partly because of Biden’s “mental capacity.”

Trump said the former vice president does not “have what it takes” to win an election for president in a Fox News interview on Friday. Biden is the current front-runner in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, but Trump cast doubt on Biden’s chances of holding off other Democratic challengers until the general election.

“Everybody knows that Joe Biden does not have what it takes,” Trump said when asked about the Democratic primary. “He never did have what it takes. He ran two or three times. I used to call him ‘1% Joe’ because he never got over 1%. Then Obama came along and, surprisingly, took him off of, I say, the trash heap.”

“I see that Pocahontas is doing better. I would love to run against her, frankly,” Trump continued, referring to Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren. “I see that Bernie Sanders is not doing well at all … I think it’s probably those three. I don’t see the other ones. I really don’t see it.”
