Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price told President Trump Friday that he would continue to support his “critical priorities,” despite his resignation from the administration in the wake of a scandal involving his use of charter planes.

“I have spent forty years both as a doctor and public servant putting people first,” Price wrote. “I regret that the recent events have created a distraction from these important objectives.”
