Gennifer Flowers accepts Trump offer: Willing to attend debate

Gennifer Flowers is willing attend the first presidential debate of the general election as the guest of GOP nominee Donald Trump.

“Ms. Flowers has agreed to join Donald at the debate,” her assistant told Buzzfeed.

Trump floated the idea of inviting her in a tweet responding to jibes from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. “If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him!” he tweeted.

Flowers had an affair with Bill Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas, a revelation she uncorked during the 1992 Democratic presidential primaries.

Cuban had previously predicted that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would “overwhelm” her rival. “Just got a front row seat to watch @HillaryClinton overwhelm at the ‘Humbling at Hofstra’ on Monday,” Cuban tweeted on Thursday. “It Is On!”

The Republican National Committee couldn’t confirm if Flowers was officially invited to the debate. “That’s a question for the Trump campaign,” an RNC spokesman told the Washington Examiner.

The Trump campaign did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
