Roadwork to start Sunday on I-95 in Howard

Construction will begin Sunday to resurface a more than five-mile stretch of Interstate 95 between Routes 100 and 32 through Howard County. The State Highway Administration?s $15 million project is expected to be completed in the fall.

Single lanes along northbound and southbound I-95 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursdays. Lanes also may be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

Later in the summer, ramps at I-95 and Routes 32, 175 and 100 will be closed at night.
