Former President George H.W. Bush will continue to undergo treatment to address his blood pressure for “several more days,” but remains in “good spirits,” his spokesman said Wednesday.
“President @GeorgeHWBush continues to be talkative and in good spirits as doctors @SMHCHealth address his blood pressure. Those treatments are expected to take several more days,” Jim McGrath, Bush’s spokesman, tweeted.

The former president, 93, was hospitalized in Maine on Sunday after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue. McGrath said then Bush was expected to remain in the hospital for several days.
Bush arrived in Kennebunkport, Maine, last week, where he will spend the summer.
