WATCH: His Airness, Michael Jordan, shows up in-person at NBA All-Star Game

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan made a rare in-person appearance at the NBA All-Star Game in Cleveland Sunday.

Jordan, who is widely considered the greatest basketball player of all time, was recognized as a member of the league’s 75th Anniversary Team at halftime.


“A six-time NBA champion, and five-time league MVP: Michael Jordan,” the speakers blared as “His Airness” was introduced to fans.

The former shooting guard and owner of the Charlotte Hornets makes very few appearances and was last seen at the Daytona 500, according to a report.

His showing at the All-Star game came as a surprise to many in the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, who roared when they saw the “GOAT.”

As Jordan made his way to center court, he shared a moment with former teammate and five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman.


Another one of his teammates, six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen, waved to the crowd via a recorded message.

Jordan also exchanged pleasantries with the likes of Jerry West, Magic Johnson, and Dwyane Wade.

He also embraced Los Angeles Lakers star and four-time NBA champion LeBron James when the greatest players of their respective generations met.
