MIAMI (AP) — Authorities are searching for two gunmen who fatally shot an elderly man who was walking to a Miami temple.
Police say 60 year-old Joseph Raksin was talking to temple Saturday morning when he was approached by two young, black men. One was on a bicycle and one was on foot. Authorities say the three fought and the victim was shot. No other details were released.
Raksin was airlifted to a hospital and later pronounced dead. Authorities said they do not believe this was a hate crime.
They have few details of the suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
