The Democratic presidential nominee will meet with retiring New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton; his successor, James O’Neill; Charles Beck of the Los Angeles Police Department; and former police chief of Philadelphia Charles Ramsey, according to The Associated Press.
Representatives from law enforcement in Arizona, New Jersey, Texas and Washington state will also be present.
According to aides, the meeting has been planned for several weeks and is meant to build upon her outreach to law enforcement during the campaign.
Earlier this month, Bratton criticized Trump — who bills himself as the “law and order candidate” — by saying he has a “shoot from the hip” style and his “lack of depth” on policy issues is scary.
