RNC announces it raised $13.5 million in June, a record for a month in a non-presidential year

The Republican National Committee raised $13.5 million in June, increasing its fundraising total to $75.4 million this year, the committee announced Thursday.

The RNC says the $13.5 million raised last month is a record for the committee in a non-presidential year.

“Our unparalleled fundraising success is due to our loyal network of grassroots donors all across America who support President Trump and our Republican agenda,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel, in a statement. “Because of the generous contributions, the RNC will continue to promote conservative values while bolstering our efforts to support, defend, and elect more Republicans.”

In June, the RNC spent $10.6 million, had $44.7 million cash on hand and no debt.

The Democratic National Committee has yet to release its June statistics.
