Kellyanne Conway: Dianne Feinstein’s call for investigation into Loretta Lynch ‘refreshing’

Kellyanne Conway said Monday that Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s call for an investigation into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch is “refreshing.”

“What Sen. Dianne Feinstein did as a Democrat is refreshing because the Democrats, now they basically say the word ‘Russia’ more than they say the word ‘America,'” Conway, counselor to President Trump, said in an interview on Fox News.

Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Sunday she believes Congress should look into whether Lynch covered for Hillary Clinton’s campaign when she told former FBI Director James Comey to call the investigation into Clinton’s emails a “matter” instead of an “investigation.”

Comey recalled Lynch’s request during testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on Thursday, and said the request made him “queasy.”
