Biden plunges 10 points after debate: CNN poll

In a new poll released by CNN, former Vice President Joe Biden dropped 10 points after the Democratic primary debate last week.

While he is still the front-runner, Biden’s support is now at 22%, a steep drop from the 32% he enjoyed in May.

California Sen. Kamala Harris is in second at 17%, almost 10 points higher from May. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is in third at 15%, followed by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at 14%, and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg is in fifth at 4%.

Harris came out strong against Biden during the second night of the debate, calling him out for his position on the issue of busing African American children to different schools.

“But you also worked with them to oppose busing. There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day. That little girl was me,” Harris told Biden.
