Trump plans to borrow ‘a lot’ of Sanders’ attacks against Clinton

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Wednesday he’s been studying Bernie Sanders’ attacks against Hillary Clinton and plans to borrow a line or two if he and the former secretary of state go head-to-head in the general election.

“Bernie Sanders has a message that’s interesting. I’m going to be taking a lot of the things that Bernie said and using them,” Trump told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough.

“I can re-read some of his speeches and I can get some very good material,” he said.

According to Trump, the 74-year-old socialist senator has “said some things about [Clinton] that are actually surprising.”

“That essentially she has no right to even be running and she’s got bad judgment,” he claimed.

Trump, who recently adopted the nickname “Crooked Hillary” to describe his Democratic opponent, has launched his own attacks against the former first lady over the past few

weeks.

During his victory speech Tuesday night, the leading GOP hopeful said the “only thing” Clinton has going for her is the “woman card.” He took his criticism even further, claiming that Clinton would barely surpass 5 percent in the general election if “she were a man.”
