20-year-old arrested for ‘McLovin’ fake ID

A 20-year old man was arrested on suspicion of using a fake ID to get into an Iowa bar on Friday night.

Daniel Alfredo Burleson was arrested after allegedly using a license with the name “McLovin,” after a police officer spotted him at a bar holding an alcoholic beverage, according to Fox 26.

Burleson initially refused to show officers his identification, but eventually gave them his real ID, which showed he was underage, according to the New York Post. He denied possessing a fake ID, but the officers eventually found the fraudulent identification card. He later admitted to the officers that he purchased the ID on Amazon.

The “McLovin” ID was from Hawaii and had a date of birth of June 3, 1981. The fake ID played a role in the 2007 movie Superbad, which is about three high school teens attempting to purchase alcohol for a party.
