Rob Reiner: Trump’s closing strategy is to use rallies to infect and ‘kill as many Americans as possible’

Actor and director Rob Reiner tweeted that President Trump was holding political rallies in the final days of the election cycle in order to spread the coronavirus and “kill as many Americans as possible.”

“Trump’s closing strategy: Blanket the country with super spreader rallies and kill as many Americans as possible,” Reiner tweeted Tuesday.

Reiner’s post was retweeted over 7,000 times and was liked by over 35,000 users.

“Can’t wait until we have a President who cares whether or not we die,” Reiner tweeted Monday night.

Reiner has been a strident critic of Trump for several years, most recently regarding the president’s handling of the coronavirus. The All In The Family actor said earlier this year that Trump is a “sociopath” who doesn’t care about people who have died from the coronavirus.

“The President is a sociopath,” Reiner tweeted in April. “He has no feeling about people suffering or dying. He uses these ridiculous press briefings as a campaign tool, managing the death toll like poll numbers. Trying to convince US that 200,000 deaths is a victory. Monstrous.”
