Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush made a surprise appearance during comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s introduction video at the 2016 Emmy Awards.
The skit involved Kimmel trying and failing to find a ride to the Emmys, and eventually he ended up in a limo driven by Bush.
“I’m in between jobs right now,” Bush quipped. “Did you know you can make $12 an hour driving for Uber?”
He asked Kimmel, who is nominated himself for his late-night show on ABC, if he thought he would win, and then gave Kimmel some advice.
“If you run a positive campaign, the voters will ultimately make the right choice,” he said, referencing his failed bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination that ultimately went to Donald Trump.
The billionaire mogul was quite hard on Bush during the primary season, constantly criticizing him for being “low energy.”
The sketch ended with Bush kicking Kimmel out of his limo.
As Kimmel exited, Bush yelled back at him, “Shave that wig off your face, you godless Hollywood hippie.”
