Fox News’s Jeanine Pirro slammed Vice President Kamala Harris as a “mealy mouthed politician” for not speaking up about the seven women who have accused Gov. Andrew Cuomo of sexual misconduct.
“Finally, tonight, she is a fraud, a phony, a woman without a moral core, a regular two-faced, mealy mouthed politician who swings with the wind,” Pirro said during the “closing statement” portion of her show Saturday evening.
“A real role model, ain’t she?” Pirro said after showing various news reports lauding Harris as a role model after the 2020 election. “But remember, a woman who couldn’t get 1% of support in her party’s presidential primary nomination, a woman destined to be president, many believe, in the very near future, who can’t even answer a question about whether or not Andrew Cuomo should resign after seven women accuse him of sexual harassment and assault.”
A reporter asked Harris about Cuomo’s scandal late last week, but the vice president walked away without answering the question.

“Some supporter of women, huh?” Pirro said after airing a clip of the scene. “A woman paraded around as a champion for women quick to believe all women, unless it doesn’t work to her political advantage. A woman who once prosecuted cases on behalf of rape victims who then turns around to raise money for the Minnesota Freedom Fund that bails out the men who rape women.”
“A woman who stands up for all women unless they are accusing a member of her political party unless it works to her political benefit…this is certainly not the kind of woman we need running this country as President.” #CLOSINGSTATEMENT pic.twitter.com/9Prc65Gg9M

Harris has previously been vocal during scandals involving other political figures, including when Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh faced accusations of sexual misconduct.
“Christine Blasey Ford, who literally had nothing to gain by coming forward … she looked at the fact that this guy was being nominated and said, ‘The American people had the right to know what I know,’ and she was treated like a criminal,” Harris told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in 2019.
“So yes, I call for impeachment,” Harris continued. “I believe that is the clearest way for us to get an investigation of these allegations, and we should open an investigation of these allegations.”
Harris also said she believed the women who previously accused President Biden of inappropriate physical contact.
“I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Harris said of Biden’s accusers.
Cuomo has come under fire from a wave of fellow Democrats in New York calling on him to resign following the allegations.

“It’s deeply troubling,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said during a press briefing Thursday. “The specific allegation that the governor called an employee of his, someone who he had power over, called them to a private place and then sexually assaulted her is absolutely unacceptable to me.”
“It is disgusting to me, and he can no longer serve as governor,” he added.
