Last: Live from Las Vegas

Las Vegas For those of you wondering why there’s no good polling on the Nevada caucus, it’s because pollsters aren’t sure what’s going to happen here on Saturday when the caucuses take place. This is the first time Nevada has had meaningful caucuses, and no one knows how to model the turnout. The previous high turnout was 9,000 voters in 2004; officials think somewhere around 45,000 may show up on Saturday. With such a shift, there’s no way to know who the likely voters are. As a result, most of the national pollsters have skipped Nevada altogether. Where she stops, nobody knows … In other news, word is out that Hillary Clinton has taped an appearance on The Tyra Banks Show that is set to air Friday. The campaign has released some excerpts, none of which is particularly interesting except that Tyra asks Clinton, “If you were a contestant on a reality show, would you rather be on Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, or America’s Next Top Model?” I won’t spoil Clinton’s answer, but I will suggest that we could be headed for a Tyra-Oprah throwdown. And that would be awesome.
