Chelsea Clinton received swift pushback on social media after saying her 4-year-old son was excited on Thursday because it’s President Biden’s “first full day in the” White House.
“Just told Aidan (who loves numbers) that it’s the 21st day of the 21st year in the 21st century and how cool is that?! And he said, without missing a beat, ‘Yeah, but it’s cooler it’s @JoeBiden’s first full day in the @WhiteHouse.’ Yep, he’s my son,” she tweeted.

Some Twitter users responded that the former first daughter’s exchange with her son “never happened” because of his young age or implied it was a fabrication.
This happening is as believable as Ronald McDonald being elected the next President. https://t.co/CHOdXVf5lW

Her 4-year-old definitely understood the subtlety of this being his first *full day* in the White House. https://t.co/lOWPVFSBPi

Other Twitter users responded that Clinton’s son was too young to make such a comment and to file it under “things that absolutely did not happen,” while others lauded Clinton for parenting skills.
Biden was sworn in as president on Wednesday and signed a slew of executive orders, including rejoining the Paris climate accord and implementing a mask mandate on federal lands.
