WATCH: Secret Service jumps to protect Sanders

Secret Service agents jumped into action to protect Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders at a rally in Oakland, Calif., on Monday.

Video posted online shows Sanders’ security detail surrounding the Vermont senator as at least four people jumped a fence and rushed the stage. They were intercepted by Secret Service agents, and were escorted into Oakland City Hall.

“We don’t get intimidated easily,” Sanders said moments later, seemingly unfazed by the incident.

In a statement sent to CNN, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs said the situation “was handled professionally by the Secret Service.”
