Mary Trump set to headline Lincoln Project fundraiser next week

Mary Trump, President Trump’s niece, will speak at a fundraiser for The Lincoln Project this month.

The Washington Post confirmed the Aug. 25 engagement with her spokesman on Monday.

Her newly published book about the president, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man, has become a bestseller. Mary told the Washington Post in July that she would do “everything in [her] power” to get Joe Biden elected.

The Lincoln Project, an organization co-founded by George Conway, husband of presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway, has been implementing an expensive ad campaign against the president. The group raised $16.8 million last quarter.

The fundraising event will feature an interview with the president’s niece conducted by Reed Galen and Rick Wilson. It will be open to supporters who have donated at least $5,000 to The Lincoln Project. New supporters must donate at least $1,000.
