Frederick police said the Hillcrest Elementary School student was walking home Tuesday afternoon when he was approached by an adult man he didn’t know near Rutledge Place. The man talked to the boy, then placed his hand on the child and pulled him toward a nearby vehicle.

Police said the boy pushed the man’s hand off of him and ran away. The boy was unharmed.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, shorts and black sneakers. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-600-4106.
