CPAC 2020: Matt Schlapp on the evolution of the conservative conference

Larry O’Connor and Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union, discussed the evolution of CPAC at the Washington Examiner broadcast booth. The ACU hosts CPAC, the annual Conservative Political Action Conference at National Harbor, Maryland.

The two chatted about the growth of the event, which started as a two-day event and has expanded to a four-day conference that now reaches up to 25 million live viewers. Schlapp also discussed the theme of this year’s CPAC, ‘America versus socialism,’ and the importance of the 2020 election to the future of conservative values.
