Don?t be surprised if you see Renee Zellweger, Steven Weber and “Sex and the City?s” Chris Noth in and around the Baltimore region during the next eight weeks.
The film and television stars will be shooting “My One and Only” through July.
Filming begins today at Tyrconnell, a privately owned, 24,000-square-foot Georgian estate built in 1826.
The majestic stone house sits on 26 acres of lush gardens and land.
Set in the 1950s, “My One and Only” is based on actor George Hamilton?s childhood.
The comedy follows Hamilton?s divorced mother, Anne Deveraux ? played by Zellweger ? as she travels from city to city on the East Coast with Hamilton and his brother in tow, searching for a wealthy man to finance her lavish lifestyle and be a father to her boys.
Acclaimed actor Richard Loncraine, who won an Emmy for his work on HBO?s “Band of Brothers” series, will direct “My One and Only,” written by Charlie Peters, best known for writing “3 Men and a Little Lady.”
