Bonnie Heneson knows a good fit.
“Not every client is right for every agency,” the president of Bonnie Heneson Communications Inc. said. “We?re not a tech firm, but we know what we are very good at. And we are probably one of the best firms in the health care field.”
Heneson founded the full-service marketing, advertising and public relations agency in 1990 after working in a public relations firm for 15 years.
The company has grown to include seven full-time employees and serves more than 20 active clients.
“Because we are a small agency, we give very personalized service. It?s very high-quality service as well; either myself or the vice president works on every account,” Heneson said.
The firm always strives to be prepared in every situation, Heneson said. “We are accessible 24-7. If a client comes to us with a crazy deadline, we are prepared,” she said.
“We make the seemingly impossible happen,” she said.
The firm is the agency of record for Bon Secours Health System Inc., a Catholic health care ministry located in Marriottsville. “Bonnie and her staff are our left arm, and sometimes our right as well,” said Diana Stager, director of planning and marketing for Bon Secours. “They do outstanding work on the usual projects and with the unusual ones as well. They are just top quality.”
“We have successfully grown the services we offer to our existing clients,” Heneson said. “But I think that you always need to be looking for new clients. No one can ever forget that you can lose a client, and it can have nothing to do with you. You always have to be in growth mode.”
