Clinton campaign responds to reports Trump appeared in softcore porn

Hillary Clinton’s campaign took a shot at Donald Trump Friday evening after reports showed he appeared briefly in a softcore porn movie produced by Playboy Enterprises, Inc.

“There’s been a lot of talk about sex tapes today and in a strange turn of events, only one adult film has emerged today and its star is Donald Trump,” Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill told reporters.

In 2000, Trump appeared briefly in a Playboy movie, titled “Centerfold,” in which he is seen opening a bottle of champagne as he is surrounded by so-called Playmates, BuzzFeed reported.

“Beauty is beauty, and let’s see what happens with New York,” the then-twice married businessman said in the video.

The part of the video featuring Trump is benign. The same cannot be said for the rest of the movie.

The VHS cover of the skin flick reads, “From luxuriating in a warm, soapy tub, to reveling at an exclusive night club, Carol and Darlene bare their sex appeal and lead you on a sensual journey of discovery.”

The BuzzFeed report comes as Trump continues to battle the Clinton campaign and the press over allegations he mistreated former Miss Universe Alicia Machado in the mid-1990s when she put on some weight.

Trump has not denied that he reprimanded Machado for her weight gain, and has instead focused on attacking her character.

The GOP nominee for president encouraged his Twitter followers Friday morning to check out her “sex tape,” an apparent reference to a non-explicit scene she appeared in for the Spanish-language reality-TV show “La Granja,” in which “the former beauty queen supposedly had sex with a fellow cast member,” the Daily Beast reported.

The Daily Beast also noted this week that, contrary to rumors circulating on social media, Machado is neither a porn star, nor has she starred in any explicit, X-rated material.
