Stormy Daniels won’t attend White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Adult film star Stormy Daniels, who is alleging she had an affair with President Trump during the early days of his marriage to first lady Melania Trump, has no plans to attend this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Stormy Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, has not been invited to the dinner and wouldn’t go even if she was invited, her lawyer Michael Avenatti told the Washington Examiner on Monday.

“Sideshow,” Avenatti said.

Trump did not attend the dinner last year, and it’s unclear if he has plans to appear at the April 28 dinner this year.

News outlets usually invite celebrities or other people in the news as guests to the dinner.

Daniels, who was paid hush money to stay quiet about the alleged affair, is currently in a legal battle with Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen after she sued Trump earlier this month, arguing their nondisclosure agreement is invalid because he never signed it. The suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and alleges Cohen used “intimidation and coercive tactics” to keep Daniels from talking about the alleged affair.

Cohen has since accused Daniels of violating the nondisclosure agreement 20 times and asked for $20 million in damages.

The White House has denied the affair happened.
