Donald Trump Jr. could follow his father’s footsteps into politics in the future.
While speaking to F6 Labs gun club, Trump said he was “interested in running for office, such as governor of New York,” a guest told Page Six.
The guest added that Trump said he was not interested in being the mayor of New York City, nor a member of Congress.
Trump has repeatedly said he’s nostalgic for the campaign trail, though a Trump source told the publication that “Don has no intentions of running for political office at this time.”
He took over Trump Organization with his brother Eric when their father became president.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will complete his second term in 2018.
