Obama: ‘All the Choices We’ve Made Have Been the Right Ones’

It’s hard to imagine that an error-free presidency could produce such devastating results, but apparently that’s exactly what has happened. In an interview with ABC’s Jake Tapper, President Obama said,

“I guarantee it’s gonna be a close election because the fact is that the economy is not where it wants to be, and even though I believe that all the choices we’ve made have been the right ones, we’re still goin’ through difficult circumstances. And that means people who may be sympathetic to my point of view still kind of feel like, ah, yeah, but it still hasn’t gotten done yet.”

In truth, this election would likely be competitive even if the economy were “where it wants to be.” A competitive election was pretty much guaranteed once Obama stubbornly led the effort to pass Obamacare in clear defiance of the American people’s will.
