DADE CITY, Fla. (AP) — Attorneys for a retired police captain accused of shooting another man in a movie theater want to go inside the theater where the fatal shooting took place so they can reconstruct what happened as part of their defense.
The Tampa Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1vDkiPU) a hearing is scheduled Wednesday for Curtis Reeves Jr.’s motion seeking permission to enter the theater to take photographs, shoot video, take measurements and view the lighting settings.
