WHO: Bureau of Engraving and Printing
WHAT: In an attempt to save money, the federal agency is giving $75 gift cards to senior employees who voluntarily part with their individual printers at work.
WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: The government already owns the printers in question and could simply take them. Instead, the government is paying its employees to get its own property back, and it’s using taxpayers’ money.
WHERE TO VENT: Office of the Inspector General, Department of the Treasury, (800) 359-389.
