In an email to supporters, President Barack Obama is asking for cash donations to the Democratic party.

“Daniel,” Obama writes in an email. “Last night, I laid out my plan to create jobs and grow the economy — making America a magnet for jobs, equipping every American with the skills they need for those jobs, ensuring hard work leads to a decent living, and cutting the deficit in a balanced way.”
