‘Dirty Jobs’ host Mike Rowe to testify before Congress

The House Education and the Workforce Committee announced Friday that Mike Rowe, host of the Discovery Channel series ‘Dirty Jobs” and the CNN show “Somebody’s Got To Do It,” will testify before the committee on Tuesday.

The hearing, the committee said, will focus on strengthening career technical education programs.

“Mike Rowe… will discuss how CTE programs help prepare students for successful careers and meet the economic needs of communities and industries across the country. Members will also have an opportunity to explore reforms to update and improve the law to strengthen CTE for students, employers, and taxpayers,” the committee said.
