Work zone alert: Metro weekend track work to hit Red, Blue, Orange lines

Metro riders, take note: the transit agency is continuing its regular track work this weekend but does not plan to shut down any stations.

  • Red Line: Trains will share a single track between Takoma and Forest Glen and also between Van Ness and Dupont Circle.
  • Orange Line: Trains will share a single track between Eastern Market and Cheverly stations.
  • Blue Line: Trains will share a single track between Eastern Market and Addison Road.
