Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who has been in the hospital the last couple days with a blood clot in her head, released a statement yesterday. But it had nothing to do with her health. Instead, the statement was on “Haiti’s Independence Day.”
“On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I am delighted to send best wishes to the people of Haiti as you celebrate your 209th anniversary of independence this January 1,” said Clinton, who was in the hospital when the statement was released.
