Million-dollar pollution lawsuit scheduled for courts

A Finksburg man who sued the State Highway Administration and several businesses for $2 million for allegedly polluting his water and giving him cancer is set to appear in court next month.

“I was looking death in the eye every minute of every day,” said Jeffrey Dix, who is in remission after suffering from stage four non-Hodgkin?s lymphoma. “I had cancer in my bone marrow. I came very close to dying.”
