Montgomery County police are planning to charge four men with a series of burglaries in Chevy Chase.
Three of the men are in the D.C. jail after they were arrested in connection with a Northwest Washington burglary last week.
In Montgomery County, they are suspected in an Oct. 13 break-in at a home in the Farmington area and an Oct. 28 burglary at a home on West Lenox Street.
Police said a credit card was stolen from the Farmington home, and video surveillance caught the four suspects using the card at a Tenleytown McDonald’s that day.
That video footage allowed D.C. and Montgomoery County police to connect the cases, police said. Detectives are now reviewing residential burglaries in Montgomery and in Northwest D.C. from the past several months to see if any other cases are related, said Cpl. Dan Friz, a Montgomery County police spokesman.
Andre J. Dicks, 19, of the 3400 block of Stanton Road NE; Joshua G. Geter, 19, of the 1700 block of 29th Street SE; and Rico D. Carr, 21, of the 600 block of Edgewood Street NE, are being held in the District jail and awaiting extradition to Maryland. Police are still looking for Donte M. Jones, 23, of the 2500 block of 12th Place SE.
