LSU, gov announce new cyber research center

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal and Chancellor King Alexander say Louisiana State University is creating a center to go after big federal and commercial contracts for applied technology.

They say they expect the Transformational Technology and Cyber Research Center to get $30 million in federal research contracts in its first three years.
