Four people are slated to testify in Day Three of the impeachment hearings. Among them are Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine specialist on the National Security Council, and Jennifer Williams, a foreign service aide detailed to Vice President Mike Pence’s office. They began testimony Tuesday morning.
Vindman listened to the July 25 phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which was the catalyst behind the whistleblower complaint that sparked the impeachment effort. He called the phone call “improper.”
Williams, as an aide to the vice president, was also privy to the phone call.
In the afternoon, former special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker and Tim Morrison, a former NSC aide, will testify beginning at 2:30 p.m.
